Female Red-Tailed Hawk in nest Sept 30, 2011

Ann Red-tail, A few days ago, Big Mama landed on her nest, whereupon she was attacked from below by squirrels who live in the tree. Her wings kept opening and closing. She then flew to the spruce across the street. She is home for a while, I guess. Cooper's hawks seen this morning over Warden Avenue. Lots of feathers. Luv, Diane
