Juvenile Red-tailed Hawk july 20, 2013

After volunteering at Toronto Wildlife centre I stopped to look for the peregrines and Red-tails. I saw all three Red-tailed hawks and the lighting was amazing.

I watched from my car as the juvenile hawk jumped from branch to branch to branch. The adult was soaring over head with food in talons. The second juvenile was screaming from the post of the hydro lines.

Female adult on tower with food in talons. Both juveniles are watching her and crying for her to bring them food. Very very hot day outside.

Saw both Juvenile Red-tailed Hawks at Wexford during lunch yesterday. July 15 2013

At lunch time I drove by the towers to see two juveniles. Both look amazing, healthy and very strong.
