Definately on Eggs now April 1, 2010
The female is sitting on the nest. She stood up high on nest and worked on the nest (cleaning it up, moving branches). She quickly sat back down on the eggs.
The male is close by often sitting across the street eating.
April 5, 2010 the male arrives at nest, female climbs out of the nest and flies to the local tree. She returns to the nest, with male swooping over backyards hunting continuously.
April 7, 2010 the male is mobbed by grackles.
April 8, 2010 The male is on hydro tower, he is grooming his wet feathers and legs. He spits out a pellet. He holds his wings out away from body to dry his feathers. Female is on nest and doesn't leave.
April 9, 2010 male is mobbed by crows, Once he gets them away he drops off food at the nest. Again at 11:15 the male is mobbed by blue jays. He caught and ate said blue jay in elm tree.
On April 11, 2010 witnessed the male switching places with female. The female goes and hunts and then returns to nest.
